Review of It Happened Here (1966) by Sam J — 20 Jun 2010
Took me a while to get into this. At first I couldn't make out what was happening or what anyone was saying but after a while I adjusted to it and watched it in its entirety. It's a very interesting concept and one I think that has been very well presented in this. I do think, if we were successfully invaded by the Germans we (the British) would have slipped into that frame of mind and become National Socialist. It's such a scary thought as well seen as we pride ourselves on being resisting the Nazi regime now.
I would like to see a good modern version of this. But only if it was good. There are so many bad modern adaptations out there nowadays!
