Despite the rave reviews this has garnered it really is not much more than a love letter to horror films of the 80's, but not as scary. A teenage girl has sex and finds herself followed by an entity that only walks and takes on varying forms.
Yes, it's well made and acted, but it really isn't scary and plot holes and a weak ending make this more of an interesting oddity than a genre changing masterpiece.
