Story was clearly not a priority here. I gave it a 2 in recognition of a few fun moments and artful nods to some classic 80s horror staples.
Scariest part: shameless propogation/use of the myth that sex kills.
I have no idea why so many critics have gone on record saying this film is haunting, chilling, terrifying, etc. Their opinions about the film are much more haunting to me than anything in the film (except maybe all that stuff about evil, scary, deadly sex.).
But dinner before the movie was great. Really good mac and cheese! And my husband and I had a fun date. So all was not lost.
