A sense of uneasiness looms over the whole movie. Throughout the whole movie, you can't place when it is taking place. There is a lack of people outside of the main characters for the majority of scenes. Due to all this you can't quite get comfortable with the movie which I believe is the very intention. The filmmaker said that was inspired by dreams (or I should say nightmares) that he had and just like many other reviewers I believe this movie has a very dream like quality.
It is a must see.
