Truly original horror films are a rare treat nowadays, but "It Follows" delivers a slow-burning psychological ride that will have you looking over your shoulders. The film is reminiscent of old-school Carpenter, with its use of visceral ambiance taking precedent over slash and splatter.
It's slow burn approach to psychological horror makes the scares unique and effective. "It Follows" bends the mind like no other recent films have managed to do. Needless to say, I highly recommend it.
