It Follows is a 2015 horror movie that is a tribute to 1970-80's horror movies, such as Halloween. It Follows is a brilliant horror movie and a movie that legitimately scared me which is something I can't say for many other modern horror movies.

This film has some great acting, the main lead is brilliant and I hope she will be in other stuff. Some of the friends are pretty good and some aren't that good. This film is also brilliantly directed and I'm looking forward to what this director will do next.

Just like classic horror movies such as The Thing or Halloween this film is a slow burn. That's not to say this is boring because this film is anything but boring, in every scene there is pretty much always something interesting happening.

This film is really tense, the whole premise of this thing following are lead that will never stop makes a very tense movie. This film also has a brilliant score, it's a tribute to the music from older movies and it's so brilliant and makes the movie even more tense.

This film is also really scary, there's a genuinely terrifying scene with It in the leads house that is actually really scary. One of the things I really liked in this movie is that you never know when the movie is set.

In a movie like Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2013) it doesn't work as the movie felt like it was set in the 70's with modern technology. However with It Follows we don't know when it's set which makes it feel like it could happen whenever.

If I had any problems, there are a couple of stupid moments like when the lead sleeps on her car instead of in it. Also there's a 10 minute where It is missing. However It Follows is a great movie and one of the best horror movies of the decade.
