Great horror moviemaking in every sense of the word: features an unforgettable soundtrack, a horrifying premise, excellent character development, a sense of nostalgia with uncompromising originality, and a no holds barred approach that actually understands horror is the fear of the unknown and that gore is a sensitive tool only to be deployed at specific points.
This represents not as much a good movie from 2015, but an example of how good movies used to be made.
