What are one of the best plot elements to add in a horror movie?: A stocker following its victim. It can be anybody or anything in the story. Like in some stories, the sinister figure praise on the main character who is coming of age. This terrifying 2015 phenomenon is one of them.

"It Follows" is a nail-biting horror-thriller that takes place in the modern times at a small town. The film begins with a scared young unknown female running from something or someone. Her fate ends a couple of minutes later. This introduces a little of the villain's capabilities before revealing the rest of them later on in the story. Then, it shifts to a beautiful blonde teen named Jay (played by Maika Monroe), who is the conquering hero in this horror flick. Her interests are swimming, watching classic black-and-white movies, and hanging out with her other friends. She also likes the daydream about going on dates, finding a special guy, and losing her virginity. Jay goes out on a date with one of her male friends named Huy (played by Jake Weary) one night and start to have sex in his car at a vacant parking lot. She gets chloroformed by him afterwards. Jay wakes up as Hugh warns her about a curse he passes to her about a mysterious entity following her and killing her. This is what sets up the story's conflict.

No one knows how and where this deadly force came from. In life, we are warning rather if sex is a good or bad thing. It is hectic in horror genres because it can lead the two mates to death.
