Review of It Comes at Night (2017) by Private U — 16 Jun 2017
To start, I really liked this film. It was extremely tense, minimalistic, and superbly acted. A lot can be accomplished with just a sound, a look, and musical sting. There was absolutely no Digital FX and no "monsters" other than what the audience assumed was there.
That said, the story is insanely depressing. You will not leave thinking "well that was fun!" It joins the list of movies that you must watch, but never watch a 2nd time.
