The audience reviews are going to be filled with basic people that went out to the movies expecting to see some thrill ride scare like The Conjuring 2. So DONT READ THE AUDIENCE SCORE READ THE CRITIC SCORES.
Any one who knows A24 could have told you the movie was not going to be a horror rollercoaster ride but a deep psychological interpretation of human society and in that sense It deserves praise.
