Review of It Comes at Night (2017) by Austin P — 13 Jun 2017
This movie was such a big disappointment. There were only ten people in the theater watching it and I felt asleep half way though it, and when I woke up I realized that four other people were sleeping though it to.
It was such a waste of time and money. I am really confused as to why it is being portrayed/ "misrepresented" as horror film, it is neither scary, nor suspenseful, nor interesting. The acting was not bad, but the poor actors had little to work with, the story is so lame and boring.
It felt like an episode of Fear the Walking Dead, minus de zombies, action and characters that we care about. The movie was awful; poor lighting, shaky cameras, super close shots and a bad score did not made this movie any favors either.
It also felt terrible loooong. Do not waste your time or money on this, watch paint dry instead it is far more interesting and it will not cost you a dime.
