There are two parts of this movie: the first two thirds and the rest.
The first two thirds, which was essentially a survival story, is very good at creating a feeling of suspense. However, it doesn't do much more. There was a missed opportunity with the soundtrack, as none of the background music was scary.
The last half is when the plot comes together. The suspense lowers, but the thriller part of the movie shows, yada yada, everything goes wrong. It manages to avoid any clichés.
Overall, an okay movie. I probably wouldn't recommend it though.
