Review of It Chapter Two (2019) by Aragondrift — 06 Sep 2019
So very disappointing. Episodic and repetitive, the filmmakers start out throwing everything at the audience and find themselves no where to go with no way to increase the tension. You cant accelerate to ten if you start there.
Most disappointing though was the way in which the movie exploits racist and homophobic violence as a shorthand for their narrative and scene setting. Not only that but the tired stereotypes of Native Americans shows the exploitative attitudes of the film makers.
