Could have been much more. Been there done that is how I felt throughout, and not the least bit scared. The movie seemed to focus too much on trying to conjure up successful aspects of the Goonies and stand by me.
Read the book and leave it at that. Where is the next generation of brilliant screen writers and directors? They certainly were not involved in this movie.
