I was a fan of the 1990 miniseries so I was looking forward to seeing this movie. The decision to break this up into two movies, this one focusing on the Losers Clubs as kids really works. It reminds me of Stand By Me with a touch of Spielberg thrown in. I'm not a huge Horror fan and the film, except for one scene, isn't very violent so this film works even if you're not a fan of the genre.
See it or Skip It.
Definitely worth seeing in the theaters.
