Review of It (2017) by Tom G — 03 Nov 2017
This movie is well made, has fantastic actors, and the effects are exquisite. But the story itself is ridiculously absurd. After watching this and Dark Tower recently, I've come to the conclusion that I am in no way a Stephen King fan.
The stories are the weakest, most laughable parts of these movies. Storylines so a absurd that it sucks you out of the zone of watching a film and leaves you laughing at its ridiculousness. The many scary scenes in IT were ruined by the laughable plot lines.
It's a shame. But I cannot let myself get lost in films with plot holes the size of the Grand Canyon, that make zero sense whatsoever.
