Not being a horror movie fan at all I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this film. It doesn't use needless jump scares to get its scares across to the audience. Instead it uses it's dark atmosphere and general creepiness to deliver it's scares.
Pennywise was played brilliantly and I'm sure it gave many people nightmares. The comedy in this movie was really funny but it was a little overused in my opinion. Great chemistry between all the kids make this movie a very enjoyable watch.
