Review of It (2017) by Imthenoob — 19 Sep 2017
I think the child actors for the Losers are what make this film. They're fantastic performances is right up there with the best I've seen this year so props to them. I really like how they did Pennywise as a more sinister clown, Bill Skarsgard really did him justice and gave a great performance.
I am disappointed though with the fact that Pennywise really didn't have much dialogue and was kind of cheapened to jump scares through out the movie. And the scares were very predictable, You could see it a mile away so it was hard to actually be scared. The lack of scares doesn't stop it from being a good and faithful adaptation of the book and I would still very highly recommend it. I can't wait for chapter 2 to come out.
