A very good movie that's a huge departure from the original story.Even more so than the crappy mini-series (Tim Curry was great though).This is not an especially big problem unless you're an avid novel fan.
The kids were all great except for poor Mike,who was short changed for on-screen time.Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise was excellent,with your eyes glued to his every movement in a clever and nuanced performance.
Is IT scary?Nah,not in this at least.Read the book...
