Great job of balancing the importance of building the friendships, establishing the creepy townies, and presenting the type of funhouse horror you expect. The kids are great particularly Richie and Bev.
Bill does a great job of bringing Pennywise to life in a way I didn't anticipate. The only criticism I have is some of the early Pennywise encounters lacked transitions. We were shown one solo Pennywise encounter and then directly showing another without any sort of transition.
The movie changes some aspects of the story and omits a few others but overall a solid adaptation of a source that would be hard to get right within the confines of a feature film. Looking forward to Part 2.
