I'm a huge Stephen King fan, and I had high hopes for It. The movie, despite being well-acted, light-hearted, and even comedic at times, fell short with the thrills. Instead of building tension through choices and consequences, loud noises generate the scares in this film, causing you to leave the movie without any sense of dread.
