Review of It (2017) by Phil S — 23 Sep 2017
A very conventional but competently-directed horror movie. Goes through the usual horror cliches and doesn't do anything particularly creative with them, but it does manage to maintain my attention the majority of the time.
The film's length does overstay its welcome a little bit though and the characters aren't as well-developed as they could be, nor do the scares invoke as much fear as they should. Nonetheless, IT effectively brings Pennywise back to life with modern production values.
