It was kind of stupid. The first scene was fantastic! But after, it wasn't all that scary. I thought it would be terrifying, but all I get is some movie about a bunch of kid going around while they try to kill some very unrealistic monster.
This movie did not deserve the praise that it got, and I found it to be utterly stupid. Don't watch it, it's just a waste.
