I want to start by saying that not only have I never seen the original 'IT', I don't think I've ever sat through a horror movie all the way through. Not because of fear, but they simply don't interest me. The initial trailers and the fact that everyone's raving about it are the only reason I'm writing this review.
Let's start with what I liked.
-The cast: overall the kids did an excellent job in this movie. They certainly had their rough patches, but on a whole were great actors, clearly with chemistry and a love for the movie. Pennywise was ok I guess.
-The comedy: didn't expect to be saying this but the comedy on a whole was great. Some very well written dialogue which perfectly summarised how someone of their ages would act.
-Intimidating villain:
