Review of It (2017) by Liza T — 24 Sep 2017
As an early teen who hasn't had my fair share of horror movies, this did make me jump in my seat a few times, and at one point, squint to block out the screen. I thought it was decently scary; the opening scene was definitely a shock and was a good scare.
Really, though, this was hilarious as hell more than it was terrifying.
"Yeah, they say she hooked up with a number of.
Guys longer than my wang!".
"That's not saying much.".
This was only one of the many times I laughed at all the well placed jokes. Richie was amazing honestly, and Finn couldn't have been a better actor for the role. Same thing with Sophia Willis as Beverly Marsh, she was practically made for that character. I definitely thought the kids were perfectly cast in every way and were spectacular actors.
The only thing that was disappointing was that it could have been scarier. I loved the humorous parts more than anything, but the only thing that was scary is how Beverly literally snipped her hair off choppily.
with scissors.
