I should preface this review by stating, I'm not a fan of scary movies; however IT was spectacular!
I've always stayed away from scary movies since most of them rely on using jump scares rather than true horror or fear. However, while IT does have jump scares, they are very minute and actually do come at times you wouldn't expect. IT enstilled true fear in me even in the non-jump scare parts and gives you goosebumps. The child actors were top-notch and even if you're not a fan of scary movies, I must insist you go see it before it leaves theaters!
Overall: A great movie, perfect for scary movie aficionados and those like me, that tend to shy away from scary movies, as well! Just don't take your children to it simply because there is a clown on the front! Slightly gory, but nothing most people can't handle.
