Plenty of jumps and screams but missing a lot of the genuine dialogue and rapport from the original. Seemed to favor blood, shadows and loud noises over genuine scares or character development. Although worthy on both terms of horror and a perfectly played Pennywise, who took the role with stunning originality yet loyalty to the role.
Flawed in portions but overall a roller coaster ride worth taking.
