Review of It (2017) by Rami A — 12 Sep 2017
The fact that this movie is praised by many really makes me scratch my head. This movie was absolutely terrible.
The acting was the most "mediocre" part of the movie, but hey lets give it up for the 2009 looking CGI.
The story telling didn't exist, there was barely any back story, emphasis on characters, the story's direction was all over the place. Don't get me started on the "jump scares" that literally were all expected, all but one.
The movie took 30 mins to explain something that could have been explained in 10 mins, stretched the story with no dedication to explanation.
I left the cinema with so many questions, questions that can't be answered; now that some of these characters are dead.
Everything about the movie was messy and unnecessarily long.
Approximately 100 jump scares in 10 mins thats expected from the generic music playing and the generic plot.
