Im a book hardcore fan and still think the movie didnt cover all the depth of the story. I would have liked some more deaths of the secondary characters, some scenes of the history of derry would have been very nice as It is also a mistery story, as we really dont know what the creature is or the motivations; the history scenes help setting that up and keep you hooked to the book.
I think the mike character was not given enough screen time, henry bowers and his gang (espcially bowers ) was a little undeveloped as a character. The most important part he is supposed to play is when he chased the losers into the sewers but too bad he didnt do that.
Still think is a great horror movie adaptation, hope I ever see an adaptation sticking more to the book.
