As An original "IT" fan reflecting back to the 1990 "IT" I was VERY disappointed. I expected a classic feel with a modern Picture. None of this was captured. The plot of the original "IT" included the main cast of children as adults, visiting a childhood nightmare.

This among many other significant scenes was not captured. The gory details of the 2017 "IT" made the film seem very unrealistic, while in the original "IT" it seemed more spiritual, allowing the audience the ability to visualize the terror and innervation vs be caught off guard by blood and gore.

I feel as if the director focused more on terrifying his audiences vs replenishing the 1990 "IT". Too gory, Over dramatic, and absolutely NOTHING like or compared to the classic 1990 "IT".

. I am far from a Happy Camper. I gladly Rate this Film... ONE star.
