Its true, it was funnier than it was scary, but my 14 year old found it very scary. Having seen it in 1990, it was a revisit so maybe I just knew what was happening and wasn't scared. However, it gets extra points this time around for just being entertaining.
We go to movies to be entertained, I don't care if I am scared. After seeing it the first time, I haven't seen a scarier movie since. But this time, I haven't laughed as hard before either.
