Review of It (2017) by Chris R — 26 Sep 2017
Stephen King stories are filled with horrific imagery, complex twists and psychological horror - all via a written word. To take these masterpieces and litter it with cheap jump-scare tactics is disappointing and wasteful.
The story stands up. The movie is enjoyable. But if you are looking for a movie that plays to the perfections of the book, this is not it. If you want to be scared from the second the trailers end (and every time you see a clown or red balloon) this is the movie for you.
