Ever since I have have been the age of 10 I have been In love with Steven Kings books and work alike, now I am the age of fourteen, and you must be thinking why would anybody send their 14 year old son to see a film about a Child Killing clown.

Well to tell you I am not a dodgy person nor from a family of those sorts, and for people living in Victoria Geelong you will know the dodgy areas of Corio and norlane, nor am I from there. And since I love Stephen king I would certainly see this film.

And to start of I don't really like modern day horror films, I really love them from the 70's, 80's and 90's. But since I love Stephen King and I have read the amazing IT novel, and the TV film I would surely see the film.

but I did not expect how good it actually was, and what a pleasure it was to see this film on opening night and in a Titan XE theater .I loved the feeling of the mystery to find Bill Denbroughs brother Georgie, and I love that they changed it in some parts to suit modern audiences.

To start with the cast, what and amazing bunch of child actors I have ever seen in a motion picture. I love the fresh feel that the relatively unknown child actors bring to their respective roles. I especially feel that Jaeden Lieberher and Sophia Lillis's characters lead the cast into an amazing film.

And the role of of Pennywise is brilliantly played by Bill Skargard, who brings a fresh play on the iconic demon shape shifting murderer. The story line of the film is just brilliant I loved the old nostalgic feel of the 80's and the changed plot elements that helped bring a fresh and insightful view into the classic Stephen King masterpiece.

And now done to the scares and gore for the film, the scares are fresh and terrifying, and they are perfectly well paced In this Horror Film. And now done to the gore even though I don't really like gore in films, this film does not disappoint and for those wondering how gory the opening death of Georgie is, is pretty gory and shocking, as poor Georgie gets his arm bitten off by the maniacal Pennywise, he try's to crawl away with bone and viscera and blood in full horrifying and shocking glory, and then is pulled violently back into the musty sewer drain which sets the ground work for the film.

And for the relativity to the book, it is done wonderfully with all you love in book plus a hole boat full more, including Eddies horrifying encounter with the leper, and a new scene with Ben getting chased by a headless Spector in the archives of the Derry library.

And a new re-imagining of Beverly bloody encounter In her bathroom. Also I would also like to add that this film has a lot of heart and a story-line you will fall in love with and plenty of laughs and gags such as numerous jokes towards Eddies obese mother.

In conclusion I think this is a wonderful and beautiful film, that I strongly recommended any Horror or Stephen King fan should definitely see. Also don't listen to those awful reviews posted by people who have nothing better to do with there boring life's.
