It. Loved it. Well directed, very well written, funny, charming, some points scary, and some points sad. This was the surprise everyone needed to end Summer. Like The Losers Club summer vacation, some are better then others, and some are best never spoken about again.
The kids were cast exceptionally well and played to their strengths. Pennywise was more creature then character here, but it fit in for this world that was built within a great script. I cannot see the sequel being better then this 1st chapter, but I am hopeful with this crew at the helm.
A great horror lexicon film. 5 Stars.
