Despite pierce Brosnan's good performance and tension, I.T. is it pretty much a by the numbers thriller. The movie has OK build up but it really has nowhere to go except into a pile of clichés. Some of the choices the characters make also pretty down right dumb.
In other words there's really nothing here you haven't seen before and seen before done better.
