Review of Isn't It Romantic (2019) by Ledaumas — 17 Feb 2019
This was an adorable, sweet, silly movie like the old Doris Day/Rock Hudson movies, except it was almost a musical which we found very entertaining. This movie was cute, fantasy entertainment, nothing more.
We loved seeing the usual antics from Rebel Wilson and Adam DeVine, but also seeing Liam Hemsworth being funny for once, and hearing his Australian accept for a change. Priyanka Chopra, Betty Gilpin and Brandon Scott Jones were all VERY funny in their over-the-top roles.
All in all, it was a very enjoyable film like a throwback to the past G-rated romantic comedy movies. You can tell the actors enjoyed making this film, and we enjoyed watching it.
