Rather than adding to the multitudinous positive comments, instead I'll list the people that might not want to see this movie based on reading the negative reviews.
You might not enjoy Isle of Dogs IF:
1) You don't know what stop motion animation is and you are going to complain about the "jumpy" "amateur" animation.
2) You are planning on taking your kids and you shield them from the concept of death. Just because it is animated doesn't mean it is a kids movie.
3) You are a sociopath. This is a movie about feelings. If you don't think you are a sociopath and you don't find yourself emotionally drawn into this film, I'd suggest seeking a diagnosis.
4) You are unfamiliar with Wes Anderson and don't like "quirkiness".
5) You often complain that movies are "too slow".
6) You are a social justice warrior leading the charge against cultural appropriation.
