A must watch freaky and fantastic Wes Anderson film. The stop-motion animation is a delicious treat for hungry eyes. The film has a simple little story about canine outcasts, unjustly expulsed from society, to a lonely desperate life on a garbage heap.
Just beware, IOD is not a fast paced, action packed, laugh riot romp; though it does have some of the aforementioned element's. The film moves at a more leisurely pace, akin to sipping a glass of fine wine as you watch the setting sun.
