Island in the Sun is an incredible film. It is about the life of a young charismatic and handsome black male with political aspirations. James Mason and Harry Belafonte give excellent performances. The screenplay is entertaining but is a little slow in places.
Robert Rossen did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and romance. Island in the Sun is a must see.
