Review of Irreversible (2002) by Alsan A — 06 Jan 2010
One of the darkest, most intense cinematic experiences I've ever had. Incredible performances all around including perhaps the most brutal rape sequences ever filmed with Monica Bellucci, and the Memento-esque reverse chronology truly does highlight the dark, spiraling causality propelling the narrative forward.
