Review of Irreversible (2002) by Azeez N — 11 Jun 2010
Antichrist might be the sickest movie I ever watched, this was too but it had a purpose, and I liked that. Even though its a standard tale of revenge but told in a reverse order and is very cerebral by nature. Not for faint hearted by any means, not only in terms of portrayal of violence but the sad tone of the movie.
Regarding the hue presented by touching the morality of humans and the established dogma of fate, the movie held itself up very maturely something that I didn't expect from such a violent tone. I cant like this movie, I think no one can, but I appreciate everything in it, it was done very sincerely. I feel sad :|.
