It's hard to say "I love this film", but I do. It's hard to say [SPOILER] "I love the way he started out the film with a brutal murder in a hardcore gay club, and moves on to a violent rape", without feeling somewhat like a guilty bystander explaining, excitedly, to your friends that you witnessed a brutal crime.

The movie uses time and plot so well to drive home its point and though it starts out with what could be construed as the climactic ending and works backwords, the beginning is really the climax. It's a work of art on all levels and though it is brutal, it's importance as film/art outshines that brutality. That brutality takes the audience to such a depth that it allows for great emotional heights.

I've become a huge fan of Gaspar Noe and this is the finest example to date of his work, which says a lot as I also loved Enter the Void.
