Review of Irreversible (2002) by Paul B — 07 Apr 2011
I really wanted to like this film - great cast, artistic and fearless director - but I could just not get past the unnecessary elements of this story. I know some film purists will disagree with me but I cannot see the artistic merit in filming a 10 minute, traumatic rape rape scene.
To be honest I do not know how any woman could actually sit through this film. Horrific, sad, words fail me....
