The film & it's backwards story telling certainly does suck you in, but the film is so intense & in your face at the beginning, by the time the film ends it has teetered off to a very calm, and often dull story. The camerawork can also get so dizzying that the film gets even more difficult to watch.

And then there is the in your face rape scene & fire extinguisher scene...
