Subtitled French Film.
Synopsis:
Couple (Alex & Marcus) get ready for a night out at club/house party with her ex (Pierre).
Alex is pregnant.
At the club/house party our protagonists the couple have a tiff, Alex leaves.
Finds herself brutally raped and has her face smooshed into the ground.
Turns out the actions of the rapist were the exact actions, but to the extreme, of her other half Marcus before they got ready for their nite out.
Our heros, Marcus & Pierre, come out of the club/house party to see her, post attack, and end up seeking vengeance.
They follow the trail, via a fight with prostitutes & the racist belittling of a taxi driver, to club Rectum (a more unlikely christened establishment could only be found in a joke) where they find la Tenia, our antagonist, who beats up and breaks the arm of Marcus before getting his face smashed into pulp by Pierre who's arrested.
But backwards.
Em...
I won't b watching it again. Seemed like it was shock & gore for the sake of it and therefore came across as trying too hard... The only bit I found hard to watch was the 'epiletic fit inducing' strobe finale.
