Review of Irrational Man (2015) by El_Jacko — 30 Oct 2015
Sure, it may be borrowing plot elements from Allen's earlier works. Sure, it's meditative aspects are underdeveloped. Sure, the dialogue can be occasionally wonky here and there. But I'll be damned if this isn't the most fun I've had all year at the cinema (seriously! A million times better than your 'Age of Ultron' b0llocks).
Phoenix is electric and the film oozes with a late-afternoon autumn coffee shop atmosphere that I find extremely seductive.
