Review of Iron Sky (2012) by Bobby D — 12 Nov 2012
I think a lot of fans/ folks had HUGE expectations for this film and would love to see the filmmakers take another go at this idea ( Mad Max- retooled as Road Warrior) as it is a good one. Was the execution shaky? a bit.
But the Finnish filmmakers had a lot to say and they said it pretty clear. That there is a short road between American Conservatism and authoritarianism. The linking of right wing rhetoric and nazi slogans is interesting, again this film was made by Finnish filmmakers and American audiences might be surprised at how Americans are perceived around the world.
