Review of Iron Man: Rise of Technovore (2013) by Matthew L — 17 Jun 2013
All flash and bang, very much an Iron Man film as barely anytime is given to Tony Stark. Will probably please fans of the character who feel that the live action films spend to much time of Stark out of the armour. There are elements within this film that loosely connect it with the live action trilogy but they are brief and fleeting. Rhodes/War Machine gets a few moments in between the whip crack zooms of the retina destroying fight scenes, but Norman Reedus as 'The Punisher' is wasted as both actor and character, Hawkeye is largely along because lets face it no one is going to want to see a solo film, animated or otherwise, of this guy and Black Widow is along largely because you can't have an anime without a woman with enormous breasts every other scene.
This is for die-hards and completists only.
