Iron Man 3 bounces right off the back of Avengers and maintains a steady pace. The biggest issue with number 2, was that the film didn't have a real purpose or need to exist, essentially it was the Avengers 0.

5 and that was a giant disappointment. Shane Black was the right choice here and he gives the film a sense of urgency and fun that was lacking in the first sequel. This never reaches the character heights of the first but the film is supported by great actors and a story that is utterly unpredictable.

Great villains and a film that strips the armour away from Stark, you really get the sense he might not make it out of this alive. 24/04/2018.
