Review of Iron Man 3 (2013) by Alanwynne1992 — 07 May 2013
The movie was some what of a mixed bag, the misuse of Sir Ben Kingsley, though his performance was very very memorable in an unpredictable way, was a main area of disappointment for Iron Man 3. In my opinion Shane Black and co should have stuck closer to the source material of the comic books and had The Mandarin played out in a truer to the origin form.
My reason for this is Ben Kingsley's performance in the transmission interruptions were frighteningly impressive and an actor of that stature should not have been so sorely misused. On the contrary, Stark's interactions with Harley were a high point of the film as were the special effects, and the post-credit scene with Dr.
Banner was a nice touch.
